60 higher education institutions in Uzbekistan are buying solar photovoltaic devices to provide themselves with energy. HEIs signed contracts worth 300 billion soums with various companies at an open exhibition held on July 26-30 at the “Uzeltexanoat” association. This is reported by the reporter of Kun.uz.
11 companies will supply 4,600 kW solar photovoltaic devices to HEI. Photoelectric devices are expected to be installed in educational buildings and dormitories.
It is planned that the buildings of the state universities will be gradually provided with a full solar photoelectric system until 2025. Funds are spent from the state budget.
